    Privacy Policy

    Last Updated: October 24, 2026

Red Cedar Homes, LLC ("Red Cedar Homes," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes what information this website collects, how it is used, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to the forms submitted through it.

    Information We Collect

Information you give us. When you submit a form on this site you provide your first and last name and email address, and you may also provide a phone number, the market you are interested in, the type of inquiry, and anything you write in the message field. The forms on this site cover general contact, realtor registration, trade and vendor applications, careers, warranty and service requests, referrals, and partnership or investment inquiries.

Customer feedback. If you complete our feedback form, you provide your name, the property address, a star rating, and anything you write in the comments field. An email address and a phone number are optional. We store this in our own database and use it to follow up with you and to improve how we build and sell homes. A five star rating offers to take you on to Google's review page, where anything you choose to write there is published by Google under their terms rather than ours.

Fee build inquiries and the deal calculator. If you ask for the fee build Plan Book or send a fee build inquiry, you provide your name, email address, phone number and the market you want to build in, and you may also give your company, how many homes you are considering, whether you have a lot, and a message. If you use the fee build deal calculator, the figures you enter stay in your browser while you work. None is sent to us unless you ask for the PDF report or send us the scenario through Talk to us about this deal. When you do, we store the scenario with your inquiry: the property address and market you entered, the plan you chose, the lot price, sales price, cost estimates and financing terms you entered, and the results the calculator worked out from them. We use this to prepare your report and to follow up with you about that project. If you have accepted on the cookie banner, our site analytics are told which plan you chose and the calculator's verdict, but not your figures or address.

Build + Capital and careers inquiries. When you use the Build + Capital form we collect your name, email, phone, market, the partnership structure you are considering, and anything else you choose to give us: company, number of lots, address or parcel, ownership status, estimated lot value, cash you might contribute, timeline, a message, a deal calculator link (which we read to record the figures you entered in it), and files you upload. When you apply through the careers form we collect your name, email, phone, the role you are interested in, and, if you choose, your LinkedIn URL, a resume and a message. Uploaded files are stored privately and are opened only by our staff through short-lived links. To limit repeated submissions we record a code derived from your IP address that cannot be turned back into the address. We keep this information with your inquiry.

Event RSVPs. When you RSVP for an event we collect your name, email address, phone number if you give one, party size, whether you are a real estate professional and your brokerage if you say so, any note you add, and your answers to two optional consents: event and home updates by email, and text messages about the event. If you check the text-message box, we may text you about that event only, at the number you gave; message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP to any message to opt out or HELP for help. We do not sell your phone number or text consent, or share them with third parties for their marketing. We use this information to manage the event and to follow up with you about it: a confirmation or waitlist email, a notice if the same address RSVPs again, a reminder the day before, and a thank-you note afterward. Each of those emails has an unsubscribe link, and using it stops our event emails to that address. To limit repeated submissions we record a code derived from your IP address that cannot be turned back into the address. We keep this information with your RSVP.

Information collected automatically. When you browse the site, the analytics and advertising services described below may receive technical and behavioural information about your visit, including your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how you arrived, and the referring website.

Information we record ourselves. Separately from those third-party services, we record each page view on this site in our own database. That record contains the page address, the referring website, your browser's user-agent string, your screen size, and a randomly generated session identifier that lets us tell one visit apart from another. The session identifier is held in your browser's session storage and is cleared when you close the tab. We do not ask for your name or email to browse, and we do not attempt to link these records to you personally unless you submit a form. We do not write these records at all unless you have accepted on the cookie banner described below.

We record the first page you landed on and any campaign parameters in the link you followed, keep that record in your browser's session storage, and attach it to a form if you submit one, so we know which campaign an inquiry came from.

When a promotional banner is shown to you, and again if you click its button, we add one to a counter kept on that banner. The counter is a running total for the banner and carries no identifier, so it cannot be linked to you or to your visit. Your browser remembers which banners it has already counted for the rest of the session, so each is counted once.

When you ask for the fee build Plan Book or a calculator report, we keep a one-way code derived from your IP address, never the address itself, alongside the request. We use it only to limit repeated submissions from the same connection, and not to identify you.

    How We Use Your Information

    • To respond to your inquiry and follow up about homes, communities, floor plans, warranty and service requests, careers, or a proposed partnership.
    • To prepare a fee build calculator report you ask for, and to follow up about the project it describes or the scenario you send us.
    • To manage an event you RSVP for, and to send the confirmation or waitlist, reminder and thank-you emails about it.
    • To send marketing communications about Red Cedar Homes where you have asked to receive them.
    • To measure how the website and our advertising perform, and to improve both.
    • To detect and prevent spam and abuse of the forms.
    • To comply with legal obligations and to enforce our Terms and Conditions.

    Cookies and Tracking Technologies

This site loads a Google Tag Manager container, and analytics and advertising tags are delivered through it. Those tags set cookies and similar identifiers in your browser and send information about your visit to third parties, currently including Google (Google Analytics, Google Ads and DoubleClick) and Meta (the Facebook pixel).

These providers may collect a browser or device identifier, your IP address, the pages you view and the actions you take on this site, and may combine that information with data collected about you on other websites and services. They use it for measurement and for advertising, including interest-based advertising and advertising targeted across different websites and apps.

This site presents a cookie consent banner the first time you visit. None of the tags described above load until you choose Accept, and the page-view records described under "Information we record ourselves" are not written until then either. If you choose Decline, neither happens. Your choice is stored in this browser and you can change it at any time using the Cookie Preferences link in the footer of every page. If you change an earlier acceptance to a decline, the page reloads so that anything already loaded stops running.

A small number of things are stored in your browser regardless of that choice, because the site cannot work without them: your cookie choice itself, which promotional pop-ups and banners you have already dismissed, if you sign in to an administrator account, your login session, and, if you ask for the fee build Plan Book or a calculator report, an access code that keeps the fee build plans open in that browser for 30 days. The access code is kept in your browser's local storage, so closing the tab does not clear it. Clearing this site's storage in your browser removes it, and you can ask for the Plan Book again at any time.

The fee build deal calculator's Copy link button creates a link that holds the figures you entered, including any property address, so you can send the scenario to someone else. Those figures sit in the part of the link after the # sign, which your browser does not send to our servers or to the analytics and advertising services described above. We do not store a link you copy. If you send us your scenario through Talk to us about this deal, the link is stored with your inquiry. Anyone you send a link to can read every figure in it, so share a link with an address in it only where you are content for that person to see it.

Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies and clear site storage through their settings, and Google and Meta each publish their own advertising controls. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the site work.

    How We Share Information

    • Service providers. Companies that host this website and that store form submissions and the page-view records described above on our behalf, and that deliver email on our behalf.
    • Analytics and advertising providers. The Google and Meta services described above, which receive information about your visit directly from your browser.
    • Professional advisers and business partners where a specific inquiry requires it, for example routing a warranty request to the responsible trade partner, or a realtor registration to the sales team.
    • Legal and corporate. Where required by law or legal process, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets.

    Data Retention

We keep the information you submit for as long as it is needed to respond to your inquiry, to carry on the relationship it relates to, and to meet our legal, accounting and record-keeping obligations. You can ask us to delete information you submitted using the contact routes at the end of this policy.

A fee build calculator scenario, whether sent with a report request or through Talk to us about this deal, is kept with the inquiry it was sent with, for as long as that inquiry is kept. The IP codes described above are kept with the request they belong to. The fee build access code in your browser stops working after 30 days.

The page-view records described above are kept as a running history of site activity and are not currently deleted on a fixed schedule.

    Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to opt out of certain uses of it, including the interest-based and cross-site advertising described above. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA.

To make a request, use any of the contact routes at the end of this policy and tell us what you are asking for. We will ask for enough information to confirm who you are before we act on a request, and you may use an authorised agent. We will not treat you differently for exercising a privacy right.

    Security

This site is served over an encrypted connection, and access to the systems that store form submissions is restricted. No method of transmission over the internet or of electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

    Children's Privacy

This website is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us using the routes below and we will delete it.

    Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the site after an update means the revised policy applies to you.
